New-Old Baby Bootlets

Recipe:
Take one pair vintage Mrs. Day's Ideal Baby Shoes (found for .99 cents)
~cleaned and re-insoled with cozy, grey felt,

Add non-toxic black paint and tiny, brown cotton rick rack laces....

And, voilĂ :
Victorian-Inspired wee one bootlets!

This was ever so much fun to do, and since Miss Baby seems to enjoy them, too..... I'm already planning out more little shoe projects ( I would love to make a pair of button boots from scratch one day (using this wonderful little book as my guide).
